Jobbeschreibung

As a Procurement Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the strategic and operational purchasing of large-scale battery storage projects. In close cooperation with technology, project management and external partners, you will ensure efficient, on-time and cost-effective procurement.

Your responsibilities

• Development and implementation of a cross-project procurement strategy for all relevant product groups and services
• Continuous monitoring and analysis of the relevant markets

Supplier Management & Relationship Management

• Establishment and maintenance of strategic partnerships with suppliers, general contractors and subcontractors
• Conducting regular performance and quality assessments

Tendering & Bidding Phase

• Preparation of complete tender documents based on technical specifications and project-specific requirements
• Control of the entire tender process including bid management, bidder communication and support in contract negotiations
• Implementation of commercial and technical offer analyses (in cooperation with engineering) as well as preparation of well-founded award recommendations

Order management

• Responsibility for the entire procurement system including documentation, approvals and handover to project management and accounting

Your experience

• Successfully completed studies in engineering (e.g. civil engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification)
• 3-5 years of professional experience in strategic or technical purchasing, ideally in the field of energy infrastructure, photovoltaics, battery storage (BESS), EPC or plant engineering
• Sound experience in supporting complex tendering and awarding processes as well as good market knowledge of relevant suppliers and components desirable
• Very good communication skills and negotiation skills in German and English
• Structured, independent way of working as well as high process reliability in contract and supplier management
• Willingness to travel within Germany (approx. 5–10%)
