Job Description Procurement Manager Next Gen Program
The Procurement Manager leads strategic sourcing and supplier network transformation initiatives to enable Rowa's Next Gen Program, enhancing competitiveness, resilience, and scalability across BD's Pharmacy Automation business. The role is responsible for the coordination of sourcing initiatives with cross-functional teams, identifying, assessing, qualifying, and developing new suppliers with a strong focus to create a competitive, resilient, and scalable supply network. Leveraging advanced sourcing methodologies, supplier assessment frameworks, and robust project management capabilities, the Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role during the whole sourcing process of the Next Gen Program to ensure timely execution of required initiatives. Working across Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain functions, this role will establish governance structures, identify risks, and accelerate strategies that support growth and operational excellence.
About the Role Reporting to the Associate Director Pharmacy Automation and being part of BD's global Integrated Supply Chain Organization, the Procurement Manager is responsible for shaping and executing the organization's future supply base for the Next Gen Program. This role focuses on identifying and deploying suppliers with enhanced capabilities, developing supplier ecosystems and leading strategic sourcing initiatives that strengthen supply chain resilience while delivering sustainable cost advantages. The Procurement Manager will collaborate closely with global procurement teams and cross-functional stakeholders to assess supply markets, identify emerging suppliers, evaluate manufacturing capabilities, and lead supplier E2E sourcing projects from business case development through implementation and industrialization.
