Trench Group, a Berlin-based global leader in high-voltage transmission components, seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to coordinate CapEx strategies, tendering, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure cost-efficient, on-time project execution.

You will work with engineering, project management, and finance, build supplier relationships, and drive cost savings while ensuring compliance with corporate policies. Fluent in English and German preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with procurement experience.
• Extensive procurement experience, ideally in capital equipment or project procurement.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.

• Plan & execute CapEx procurement strategies.
• Lead tendering: RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, and negotiate competitive agreements with suppliers.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies.
• Handle contracts: draft, review, and monitor supplier agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation through supplier performance improvements.
• Report & present findings with data-driven insights for management decisions.

Your Mission

Join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of major investment projects. In this role, you will coordinate procurement strategies, manage tendering processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective and timely project execution. Your Tasks:

• Plan & Execute: Partner with the Head of Procurement to define and implement CapEx procurement strategies.


• Lead Tendering: Prepare RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, and negotiate competitive agreements with suppliers.


• Collaborate: Work hand-in-hand with engineering, project management, and finance to keep projects on schedule and within budget.


• Manage Suppliers: Build strong, long-term relationships and ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies.


• Handle Contracts: Draft, review, and monitor supplier agreements throughout the project lifecycle.


• Drive Improvements: Identify cost-saving opportunities, mitigate risks, and enhance supplier performance.


• Report & Present: Deliver clear, data-driven reports and presentations for management decision-making.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.


• Experience: Extensive procurement experience, ideally in capital equipment or project procurement.


• Technical Know-How: Strong understanding of technical specifications, engineering drawings, and industrial production environments.


• Competencies & Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.


• Tools: Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).


• Languages: Full proficiency in English and German.
