A leading solar power company is seeking a Procurement Manager to act as the primary commercial contact for suppliers of commodities. This role involves optimizing tender projects, negotiating terms, and coordinating with project teams. Ideal candidates will have a Master's degree, 5+ years of experience in procurement, and strong communication skills. Established in 2002, ib vogt GmbH is specialized in the Development, Design and Engineering, Financing, EPC and Operation of solar power and provides turnkey solar power plant solutions to investors internationally.
As a manufacturer-independent integrated developer, the company focuses on tailor‑made solar power plant solutions that maximize lifecycle performance and returns.
Since 2009, ib vogt has commissioned plants with a capacity of almost 2 Gigawatt. We employ over 840 specialists, in all areas of the solar power plant value chain in over 40 countries. The company operates internationally from offices in Spain Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, Poland, USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Panama, India and South East Asia.
The procurement Manager will act as the main commercial contact for suppliers of main commodities, involving all commercial aspects regarding contracts, purchase orders and deliveries to the project teams. It also includes delivery of competitive CAPEX and best commercial terms. The procurement manager will also identify risk mitigation strategies and to play an active role in addressing relevant issues with suppliers.
