Maersk is seeking an experienced professional to drive operational excellence across the European Logistics and Services network, standardising processes, improving system adoption and leading transformation initiatives.

Acting as a bridge between Operations, Product, Technology and Process Owners, you will identify improvement opportunities, simplify ways of working, support digitalisation and ensure scalable, efficient and customer-focused operations.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Proven experience in Operational Excellence, Process Excellence or Continuous Improvement.
• Strong knowledge of forwarding processes.
• Hands-on with freight forwarding platforms such as CargoWise or similar systems.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading transformation and change initiatives.
• Ability to translate operational challenges into scalable process improvements.

Purpose of the role:

Drive operational excellence across the European Logistics and Services network by standardizing processes, improving system adoption, and leading transformation initiatives. Acting as the bridge between Operations, Product, Technology and Process Owners, you will identify improvement opportunities, simplify ways of working, support digitalisation and ensure scalable, efficient and customer-focused operations.

Responsibilities:

Drive Operational Excellence

• Lead initiatives that improve productivity, quality, service performance and process compliance across the region.


• Identify process inefficiencies and implement sustainable improvements.

Enable Digital Transformation

• -Drive adoption of new systems, automation solutions and digital tools.


• -Partner with technology and platform teams to improve user experience and business outcomes.

Standardise Processes

• Ensure regional processes and SOPs align with global standards.


• Reduce operational variation and promote best practices across countries.

Act as the Process & Systems Expert

• Serve as the key regional contact for process design, system enhancements and change requests.


• Support testing, deployment and implementation of new capabilities.

Lead Cross-Functional Problem Solving

• Facilitate collaboration between Operations, Commercial, Product, Finance and Technology teams.


• Remove roadblocks and drive end-to-end process improvements.

Build Continuous Improvement Culture

• Promote Lean thinking, root-cause analysis and data-driven decision making.


• Share successful solutions and improvement initiatives across the network.

Your background:

• 5+ years' experience within freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain operations


• Proven experience in Operational Excellence, Process Excellence or Continuous Improvement roles


• Strong knowledge of forwarding processes


• Hands-on experience with freight forwarding platforms such as CargoWise or similar systems


• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or structured problem-solving methodologies


• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills


• Experience leading transformation and change initiatives


• Ability to translate operational challenges into scalable process improvements
