Amazon Deutschland W1 Transport GmbH is offering an internship opportunity in Munich for a Process Improvement Specialist-in-training. You will plan and implement improvements to driver experiences, leveraging AI and data analytics to drive efficiency, artifact improvements, and compliance.

You will be based at one of our locations and engage with EU networks to share best practices. The role requires an English proficiency at C1, a penultimate or final-year university program in business/supply

Qualifikationen

• Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above.
• Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics or similar field.
• Analytical skills with advanced level in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, macros).
• Relevant fluency of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership.
• Eligible to complete a full-time internship lasting between 3 to 6 months.

A day in the life

As a Process Improvement Specialist, you will be at the forefront of making Amazon better - which means improving safety, productivity, and quality. Part of your role will involve running observations and audits to identify where processes could be enhanced. You will also use AI-powered tools to analyse data, generate insights, and accelerate the development of solutions - from automating reports to modelling the impact of process changes before implementation.

You will be based at one of our locations and accountable for positively influencing operational efficiency. If needed, you will carry out analysis at other local or national sites. On top of dealing with productivity and safety, you will have the opportunity to share best practices and ideas with our EU network. In this role, you will use data and AI to drive improvements and continue to grow our shipping capabilities.

Basic Qualifications

• Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above
• Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics or similar field
• Analytical skills with advanced level in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, macros)
• Relevant fluency of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
• Eligible to complete a full-time internship lasting between 3 to 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant understanding in using AI or digital tools to support analysis, automation, or problem-solving
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques
• Understanding of scripting tool such as Python or SQL would be advantageous
• Proficiency with supporting tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, MS Excel, and MS Access)
