C&A is seeking an experienced, process savvy data driven, and highly service oriented focused Logistics Operations Process Engineer to join the Logistics team to support our Fit for Future (F4F) Programme.

The mission of the F4F programme is to modernize C&A’s processes and technology to enable truly European omni-channel ways of working. Our vision is that, by end of 2029, C&A will have a more efficient, resilient, and data-driven.

The Process Engineer Logistics will play a key role in the success of the largest digital transformation in the history of C&A!

Responsibilities
  • Act as Functional Lead for Transportation Operations. Ensure the program is aligned with the business needs. Consider end-to-end processes (between functions). Lead Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for function / business area, manage projects, ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Design and document with the support of the SMEs L4 processes for a dedicated area within Logistics & Operations.
  • Ensure that Transportation Process functional needs are reflected into systems development requirements. Make sure that new technology efficiently supports end state process requirements and new ways of working are implemented.
  • Provide input for business requirements / to be processes. Sign off on to-be processes for function / business. Contribute to / review key design decisions. Review & sign off on UAT scenarios for completeness. Coordinate UAT participants and ensure SMEs complete UAT. Complete Integration testing, enlisting help of SMEs if needed.
  • Ensure to partner with the regular Logistics Process Engineering & Process Optimization team to connect the process map & design with the operational processes L4 / L5.
  • Support championing & implementing changes and ensure training and communication for the teams takes place. Ensure the successful adoption of the product and processes in scope across their function. Ensure legacy solutions / processes are no longer used.
  • Lead competence development withing area of expertise in dedicated topics. Identify and drive best practice to achieve operational excellence.
  • Secure that developed working methods and learning materials are tested, approved, implemented, adopted, kept up to date and accessible.
  • Follow-up and ensure that working methods and tools are quick, lean, effective and efficient to use.
  • Contribute to the development plans for tools connected to specific roles and contribute to identifying needs for development of common ways of working, tools and competence across relevant areas.
Qualifications
  • Engineering degree with Project Management qualifications, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience from working within the area of expertise.
  • Proficiency in Windows Office Tool set and preferable with Analytical tools.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and writte
  • Deep and extensive knowledge of Transportation Processes combined with a good understanding of Retail best practices preferably in Fashion, business idea, concept, direction, strategic framework, culture and values.
  • Good understanding of Retail business model, value chain, work / lead / organize and development processes as well as an understanding of how business decisions influence supply chain and logistics, markets and customer’s need.
  • Good communication skills to be able to inspire others and express yourself clearly – translate complex issues into simple language.
  • Lead and work together within the assignment, understanding how the specialist area fits into the whole picture.
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Proficient in tracking metrics, budgeting, risk assessment, and reporting
  • Analyze, assess, interpret complex subjects and identify needed actions with the motivation to decide and act.
  • Influence, build trustful relationships and collaborate with stakeholders and partners inside and outside of C&A combined with a high self-awareness and team player mindset to work in different team organizations.
  • Being open to a fast-changing environment, to do things differently and able to navigate in the unknown
