Job summary

AIXTRON SE in Germany offers a Process Engineer - AsP Process role focusing on developing and refining MOCVD processes for AsP deposition. You will plan cross‑functional projects across planetary and showerhead reactors, and coordinate experiments to boost throughput, yield and device performance.

You will document insights for colleagues and customers, and adapt lab processes for seamless customer transfers, with international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field, PhD preferred.
• Strong knowledge in semiconductor technology or solid-state physics.
• Hands-on experience with MOCVD deposition for compound semiconductors, including planetary and showerhead reactors; AsP materials.
• Familiarity with characterization methods in solid-state physics and practical measurement.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally (5–10%).

The skills needed

• Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical/scientific field; PhD preferred.
• Strong knowledge in semiconductor technology or solid-state physics.
• Proven hands-on experience with MOCVD deposition processes for compound semiconductors - preferably including both planetary and showerhead reactors—and expertise in AsP materials.
• Familiarity with characterization methods in solid-state physics and practical measurement
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally (5–10%).
