OHB SE is seeking a skilled PCB Design Engineer to craft complex, high-density PCB layouts based on input from circuit designers. You will define and apply design rules per IPC and ECSS, collaborate on schematics with hardware teams, and generate complete manufacturing documentation including BOMs and production data.

The role requires hands-on experience with high-speed, HDI, power electronics, RF designs, and strong EMC knowledge.

Qualifications

• University degree in electrical engineering, microsystems engineering, or a comparable field.
• Several years of hands-on experience in designing complex high-density PCB layouts.
• Strong experience with high-speed, HDI, power electronics, mixed-signal, RF up to several GHz, and high-voltage designs.
• Solid understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC considerations in PCB layout.
• Experience routing differential pairs, delay matching, and managing return paths for high-speed signals.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Your Qualifications

• Several years of hands‑on experience in designing complex, high‑density PCB layouts using Siemens PADS Professional or Xpedition
• Strong experience with high‑speed, HDI, power electronics, mixed‑signal, RF (up to several GHz), and high‑voltage designs
• Solid understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC considerations in PCB layout
• Experience in routing differential pairs, delay matching, and managing return paths for high‑speed signals
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

• Practical experience with PCB layout for space applications according to ECSS-Q-ST-70-12.
• Experience with signal integrity analysis tools (e.g., HyperLynx or equivalent).
• Programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, C/C++, Tcl, etc.
