Jobtailor is seeking an experienced engineering leader to architect, design, and deliver key capabilities for Drake Tax Online. You will guide cross-functional teams across product, design, security, and DevOps, shaping technical direction and ensuring scalable solutions.

You will leverage AI-assisted development and modern cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes) to modernize systems, mentor engineers, and raise overall software quality.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record leading large technical initiatives across multiple teams.
• Operate across engineering, product, design, security, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Experience defining technical direction and delivering complex systems.
• Proven use of AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems.
• Strong track record turning ambiguous problems into well-defined technical solutions.
• Significant production experience building and operating modern web applications.
• Strong hands-on coding ability.
• Deep understanding of modern software architecture.
• Experience designing, deploying, operating, and troubleshooting applications in AWS and Kubernetes.
• Strong technical judgment with pragmatic decision-making.
