Zusammenfassung

Amadeus LPD is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to strengthen our hands-on engineering of hybrid cloud platform services. You will build reusable platform capabilities, templates and blueprints to empower multiple squads.

You will work with Kubernetes/OpenShift, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, GitOps and platform automation, embedding observability, reliability and security into solutions from the start. The role combines technical depth with pragmatic, scalable improvements.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on engineer with deep technical expertise and a pragmatic problem-solving mindset. You are comfortable building, testing, automating and improving complex platform capabilities. You bring experience in hybrid cloud environments, Kubernetes/OpenShift, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability and security controls. Software engineering experience is a plus, particularly for developing and maintaining platform-level capabilities and services. You enjoy solving technical challenges and creating solutions that can be reused and adopted by other teams.
