What You'll Do As a Lead Platform Engineer, you will act as a senior technical driver for our Hybrid Cloud Platform. You will combine deep hands-on engineering expertise with the ability to guide complex technical delivery across teams. You will work closely with platform and engineering teams to translate platform strategy into practical, reusable and production-ready capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Platform Engineering: Design, build and evolve scalable, secure and automated hybrid cloud platform capabilities.
• Technical Excellence: Translate architectural direction into practical, reusable and production-ready engineering solutions.
• Automation and Standardization: Drive infrastructure as code, CI/CD, GitOps, reusable modules, platform blueprints and golden paths.
• Reliability by Design: Ensure platform services are observable, resilient, reliable and operationally sustainable.
• Cross-Team Enablement: Support alignment across architecture, engineering, operations, security and application teams.
• Continuous Improvement: Challenge existing approaches, reduce operational complexity and improve platform maturity over time.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced hands-on platform engineer with a strong builder mindset and the ability to operate effectively in complex technical environments. You bring deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes/OpenShift, automation, infrastructure as code and modern software delivery practices. Software engineering experience is a plus, particularly for developing and maintaining platform-level capabilities and services. You are pragmatic, technically curious and able to structure work, challenge assumptions and create momentum across teams.
