Cosuno is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join the ranking team and build intelligent systems at the core of Cosuno's platform. You will own and improve ranking, recommendation, pricing models and AI agents, from idea to production, and ship them into our TypeScript web app.

You will design offline evaluations, run online A/B tests, and drive metrics-driven iteration with end-to-end ownership and pragmatic product judgment.

Qualificações

• Rankings and recommendations models with production impact.

• Strong business sense and ability to ship MVPs.
• 5+ years ML experience; PyTorch preferred.
• 5+ years Python production coding experience.
• Experience evaluating models with offline and online tests.
• Pragmatic, data-driven decision making.

Responsabilidades

• Own and improve ranking and recommendation systems matching tenders to subcontractors.
• Take AI models from idea to production: design, train, evaluate, deploy, iterate.
• Improve price prediction models for bid evaluation using large data.
• Design offline evals and run online A/B tests to drive metrics.
• Build and improve AI agent that navigates the tendering workflow.
• Ship models into the product: model, backend service, API, and web app integration.
• Collaborate with Product and Data to decide what to build and own the problem.

Your mission

Join our ranking team and build the intelligent systems at the core of Cosuno's platform.

• Ranking & Recommendation: Own and improve the systems that match the right subcontractors to the right tenders.

• AI for Construction: Take new models and AI capabilities from idea to production - design, train, evaluate, deploy, iterate - and own them end to end.

• Price Prediction: Improve the models that help users evaluate bids and make better procurement decisions, trained on millions of price data points.

• Experimentation & Evaluation: Design offline evals, run online A/B tests, and drive metrics-led iteration.

• AI Agent Development: Build and improve our agentic system that orchestrates multi-step reasoning to navigate the complex, often messy tendering workflow.

• Ship into the product: Take your work all the way to real users - model, backend service, API, and the integration into our TypeScript web app.

• Own the problem: Work directly with Product and Data to decide what to build, then build it.

• Maintain production ML & AI: Monitoring, alerting, and continuous improvement of everything we deploy.

Your profile

• Ranking & recommendation experience: You've built, evaluated, and improved ranking or recommendation models (learning to rank, reranking, recommender systems), ideally in production with measurable product impact.

• End-to-end ownership: You've personally taken features from the product problem through data, modelling, and the production service to real users.

• Product judgment: You understand the business problem, make pragmatic decisions quickly, and know when something is good enough to ship.

• Strong ML & deep learning background: You have 5+ years building, training, and shipping machine learning models - classical ML and deep learning - in production. You're fluent in a modern deep learning framework, ideally PyTorch.

• Strong Python: You have 5+ years writing production-grade Python. You write clean, well-structured code.

• Experimentation rigor: You know how to evaluate models properly - offline metrics, online A/B tests - and let the data decide.

• Opinionated and pragmatic: You look at a complex system, quickly identify what matters, and make the call. When you're unsure, you find out with data.

Bonus

• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM or agent systems - RAG, tool use, evals

• TypeScript, React, or Node experience to help integrate your work into our web app

• Experience building search systems or pricing models

• Experience with embedding models, fine-tuning, or model training at scale

• Domain exposure to construction, procurement, or marketplaces
