beyondbots seeks an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer in Europe to design and ship AI-enabled solutions for customers. You will also own architecture and core product code, shaping the approach and outcomes from day one.

This role blends customer delivery with product leadership, offering deep ownership across the stack and close collaboration with clients in a fast-moving domain. We value seniority, hands-on coding, and the ability to translate customer needs into robust platform features.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in engineering and architecture, full-stack or backend.
• Strong in two or more of: Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript (Next.js/React).
• Applied AI experience: LLMs in production, not demos — plus a grasp of how they actually work.
• AI coding agents are how you build, not a gimmick.
• Cloud, microservices, Kubernetes, APIs, data integration and orchestration.
• You like being in the room with customers and turning that into product.
• Fluent English, German B2+ (C1 a plus — our customers are DACH).
• EU work permit.

The role

Two fronts, deliberately — that's where the leverage is. As a forward deployed engineer you design and ship real solutions on the front lines. As a principal on our product you own the architecture and write core code. You don't execute a spec: you define the approach, make the calls, own the outcome. Later you can go deep on either side — you help decide which.

Mandatory

• 8+ years in engineering and architecture, full-stack or backend
• Strong in two or more of: Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript (Next.js/React)

Nice to have: TMS/ERP/CRM process experience, ML/DL, leading technical teams.
