Job summary

SIS Swiss International School Friedrichshafen is seeking a full-time Primary School Teacher to join its bilingual team. The role focuses on teaching in both English and German, planning and delivering lessons, and supporting students' personal development.

You should hold a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS/2nd Staatsexamen or equivalent) and have practical classroom experience. Native proficiency in one language and strong knowledge of the other are expected.

Job description

SIS Swiss International School is a group of private day schools from kindergarten through to college. The SIS programme is centred on consistent bilingual classroom instruction and peer experience in the national language and English, culminating in national or international university entrance qualifications. • Planning and conducting lessons
• Preparation and delivery of lessons in English
• Mentor and guide for students by ensuring their personal development
• Provide foramtive and summative feedback
• Communicate student progress with parents
• Participate in Professional Development
• You have an appropriate pedagogical qualification (fully qualified teacher, PGCE/QTS/2nd Staatsexamen or equivalent) and have already gained practical teaching experience.
• You are a native speaker of the above-mentioned school language (German/English) and have a good knowledge of the other language.
