Job summary

Der Lehrstuhl MEGT der Universität Kaiserslautern sucht eine studentische/wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft (HiWi) zur Unterstützung bei Experimenten und Auswertungen im Bereich Dichtungstechnik. Sie arbeiten im Labor, werten Testdaten aus und wenden numerische Methoden wie FEA an.

Gewünscht sind Erfahrungen beim Aufbau mechanischer Prüfaufbauten, sichere Handhabung von Werkzeugen, Matlab-Kenntnisse und NX-CAD; Interesse an Abaqus sowie eigenständiges, teamorientiertes Arbeiten sind erwünscht.

Qualifications

• Erfahrung im Aufbau mechanischer Prüf-/Versuchsaufbauten
• Sicherer Umgang mit mechanischen Werkzeugen
• Kenntnisse in Matlab zur Auswertung von Prüfdaten
• Erfahrung mit Siemens NX CAD
• Interesse an FEA mit Abaqus und Bereitschaft zur Einarbeitung
• Eigenständige, strukturierte Arbeitsweise und Teamfähigkeit

Stellenbeschreibung

Student assistant (HiWi) at the Chair of Machine Elements, Transmissions and Tribology (MEGT) in the field of sealing technology. The job includes practical work in the laboratory as well as the evaluation of test data and the application of numerical methods (e.g. FEA).

Voraussetzungen:

• Experience in the construction and assembly of mechanical test setups


• Confident handling of mechanical tools


• Knowledge of Matlab for the evaluation of test data


• Experience in working with the Siemens NX CAD system


• Interest in finite element analysis (FEA) with Abaqus and wilingness to familiarize yourself with the topic


• Independent, structured way of working and ability to work in a team
