Job summary

Magna Powertrain is seeking a trainee intern to support the process engineering team in the production area. You will analyze production sequences and assist with data collection, evaluations, and documentation.

A dedicated project involves testing and evaluating an AI-assisted camera system, with potential implementation upon suitability. You will gain hands-on experience in modern manufacturing technologies and collaborate with experts in a dynamic, production-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Studying in mechanical engineering, production engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering or similar
• Interest in manufacturing processes, automation and AI technologies
• Analytical and independent work style
• Willingness to work in a production environment
• Exposure to modern manufacturing technologies and practices
• Hands-on project with AI-based image processing and potential implementation

Job Responsibilities:

• Aufgaben Unterstützung des Prozessingenieur-Teams im Fertigungsbereich
• Analyse und Optimierung von Produktionsabläufen
• Mitwirkung bei Datenerfassung, Auswertungen und technischen Dokumentationen
• Eigenständiges Projekt: Test und Bewertung eines KI-gestützten Kamerasystems; bei Eignung Mitarbeit bis zur Implementierung

Profil:

• Studium in Maschinenbau, Produktionstechnik, Mechatronik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen o. ä.
• Interesse an Fertigungsprozessen, Automatisierung und KI-Technologien
• Analytische und selbstständige Arbeitsweise
• Bereitschaft zur Mitarbeit im Produktionsumfeld
