Cygrid GmbH, a Berlin-based cybersecurity and AI startup, is seeking a hands-on PR & Marketing Manager to build from scratch and scale our communications, brand, and marketing.

You will own day-to-day PR, content, social media, campaigns, and events, collaborating with founders and driving employer branding and GTM efforts in a fast-paced, hybrid environment at Potsdamer Platz.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on PR, marketing, content marketing and brand marketing experience.
• 3+ years managing social media accounts for a brand.
• Experience with Brevo/Mailerlite, Hubspot, Google Analytics or similar platforms.
• Ability to work with Claude on PR topics.
• Experience in a startup, scale-up, or fast-paced tech environment.
• Strong content creation and social media management, especially LinkedIn.

Aufgaben

A funded cybersecurity & AI startup in Berlin is looking for a PR & Marketing Manager to build from scratch and execute our communications, brand, and marketing activities as we scale.

We are an early-stage startup founded by experienced cybersecurity leaders with backgrounds in Israeli Intelligence units, building a next-generation AI-powered security risk management platform. Our product operates at the intersection of cybersecurity, identity security, SaaS access, and AI agent governance.

We are looking for a hands-on, creative, and execution-oriented PR & Marketing Manager who can turn technical and business topics into clear, compelling stories for customers, partners, media, and the wider tech community.

This is a mid/senior level role with significant ownership and direct collaboration with the founders. The position is hybrid and based in central Berlin, Potsdamer Platz.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute day-to-day PR, communications, and marketing activities
• Develop and maintain the company's brand positioning, messaging, and tone of voice
• Create engaging content for LinkedIn, website, newsletters, announcements, and other communication channels
• Manage and grow the company's social media presence
• Plan and execute PR campaigns, product announcements, company news, and funding-related communications
• Identify opportunities for press coverage, interviews, podcasts, speaking engagements, awards, and industry features
• Draft and coordinate press releases, media pitches, articles, executive communications, and thought-leadership content
• Support the CEO and founders in building their personal and professional visibility
• Help position company leadership as thought leaders in cybersecurity, AI, identity security, and technology
• Support the company's presence at conferences, industry events, meetups, webinars, and networking events
• Coordinate marketing materials, presentations, sales collateral, and external communication assets
• Work closely with Sales and Product to develop customer-facing messaging and support go-to-market initiatives
• Support employer branding and recruitment marketing
• Coordinate external PR, design, content, event, and marketing agencies or freelancers when required
• Track marketing and PR performance and continuously improve activities based on results
• Build scalable PR and marketing processes from scratch as the company grows

Must Have

• 3+ years of experience of hands on experience PR, marketing, communications, content marketing, brand marketing, or a related role
• 3+ years of managing social media accounts of the company brand
• Experience with Brevo/Mailerlite, Hubspot, Google Analytics, or similar platformsand other
• Ability to work with Claude on PR related topics
• Experience working in a startup, scale-up, technology company, or fast-paced environment
• Strong experience with content creation and social media management, especially LinkedIn
• Ability to build processes, setup tools and initiatives from scratch
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to write clear, engaging content for different audiences
• Experience coordinating or executing PR and marketing campaigns
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
• Comfortable working directly with founders and senior stakeholders
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to work with limited structure
• Creative, proactive, and highly execution-focused mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, AI, enterprise software, or another technical industry
• Experience organizing or promoting conferences, events, webinars, or meetups
• Experience with SEO, email marketing, website content, or marketing analytics
• Experience supporting product launches or go-to-market campaigns
• Experience with employer branding
• Basic design skills and experience with tools such as Canva, Figma
• Public speaking experience or confidence representing a company externally
• Knowledge of an additional language, ideally German, Russian or Hebrew
• Interest in cybersecurity, AI, and emerging technologies
• You are a fan of rock or metal music
