Job summary

Black & White Engineering is seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer in Frankfurt to lead analysis, design and optimisation of electrical power systems for data centre and critical infrastructure projects.

You will guide technical workstreams, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across global offices and contribute to project delivery from feasibility through commissioning, ensuring reliability, resilience and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in power systems engineering, including electrical network analysis and system studies.
• Ability to undertake and review power system modelling, fault studies, load flow analysis and protection coordination assessments.
• Experience working on complex infrastructure, industrial, utility or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, resilience strategies and network performance requirements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams and communicate technical information clearly.
• Experience reviewing technical deliverables and supporting the development of less experienced engineers.

As a Senior Power Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the analysis, design and optimisation of electrical power systems supporting major data centre and infrastructure developments. You will lead technical workstreams, contribute to project delivery and provide specialist expertise across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Working closely with electrical, mechanical and civil engineering colleagues, you will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility and network assessments through to detailed design, commissioning support and operational optimisation.
