Postdoctoral Research Position – Behavioral Science, Insurance

Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a PhD-level researcher in Behavioral Science to examine how psychological, social, and environmental factors shape decision-making in insurance and public policy. You will collaborate with CIPR researchers and NAIC staff, pursue independent research interests, and publish in peer-reviewed journals.

Responsibilities include designing and conducting mixed-methods studies, presenting findings at conferences, and building collaborations with external scholars.

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. from an accredited institution in a related field such as behavioral science, decision science, economics, communication, or risk management and insurance.
• Ph.D. must have been completed within the past two years; expected completion by fall 2026 is acceptable.
• Research experience and/or interests related to insurance issues such as catastrophe and climate risk, affordability, policyholder protection gaps, AI, data privacy, and cyber risk.
• Experience designing and conducting research using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods approaches.
• Strong data analysis skills; clear and concise presentation of results.
