Ruhr-Universität Bochum invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow (m,f,x) in Computational Neuroscience (CRC 1280). The successful candidate will analyze learning dynamics across behavioral, neural, and psychophysiological data and develop computational models, collaborating with experimentalists.

The role requires a Doctorate in neuroscience or related field, strong programming skills (Python/C/C++, Matlab) and excellent English.

Postdoctoral Fellow (m,f,x) in Computational Neuroscience (CRC 1280)

The Cheng Lab is highly dynamic and uses diverse computational modeling approaches including biological neural networks, cognitive modeling, and machine learning to investigate learning and memory in humans and animals. For further information see www.rub.de/cns

The successful applicant (m,f,x) will work on a collaborative project within the Collaborative Research Center “Extinction Learning” SFB 1280, together with experimentalists.

Scope: full-time

Duration: fixed-term, until 30.06.2029 (end of project)

The position is salaried and based on the collective agreement of the Länder (TV-L).If the personal and collective agreement requirements are met, the employee will receive pay grade E13 TV-L.
