We are now looking for a post-production freelancer – a highly skilled video editor with strong after effects expertise to support our in-house video team on a freelance basis in Berlin. We offer an inclusive environment at Unique and we encourage all genders and all neuro-diversities to apply.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of video editing experience, preferably in-house at a tech company, start up or agency
• Adobe Suite proficiency : Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Adobe Audition.
• Storytelling & editorial sense: Strong storytelling instincts with a sense of rhythm and performance. Able to identify great moments in the rushes and craft clean, precise edits with strong attention to continuity and detail.
• Technical After Effects expertise: Comfortable working between Premiere and After Effects using Dynamic Link (including masking and compositing, chroma keying, rotoscoping, screen replacements, plate compositing, basic motion design and animation, colour grading and sound mixing within the edit)
• Languages: Fluent in English
• Nice to have: Basic proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and/or Basic proficiency in Photoshop

Job Responsibilities

• Video Editing & Story Development: Edit various product and branded videos in Adobe Premiere Pro, shaping narrative, pacing, and continuity from raw footage while collaborating closely with the Video Lead to refine storytelling and creative direction.
• After Effects Compositing & Post-Production: Execute advanced compositing work in After Effects and integrate these elements into Premiere via Dynamic Link.
• Post-Production Workflow & Delivery: Complete projects to deadline, ensuring delivery with high standards of visual and audio quality, and in the correct technical formats.
