Job summary

VBeyond Corporation is seeking a senior PLM Architect to lead one or more work streams and services teams for consulting, implementation, and deployment, ensuring adoption and high-quality deliverables. You will collaborate with Program Managers, Solution Architects, and offshore teams to map processes to technology and drive PLM solutions forward.

You will demonstrate expertise in PLM domains and IT areas such as customization, data migration, and integrations, while communicating effectively

Qualifications

• Solution experience as Architect.
• Technical and solution capabilities, solution portfolio (PLM foundation + core modules).
• Develop partial solutions (e.g. Document Management, Permission concept).
• Leading a team.
• Execute a workstream (project- and/or dev team).
• Definition and execution of work packages.
• Synchronize outcome from offshore team.
• Leading the customer.
• Communicate with customers and partners (manage customer requirements, solution documentation, socialize solution).

Responsibilities

• Leads one or more work streams and the corresponding Services teams for consulting, implementation, & deployment incl. adoption
• Plans work streams and assign tasks to project members
• Reviews work stream deliverables to ensure that they are accurate and reach the defined quality
• Collaborates with the Program / Project Manager and provides reports about the work stream(s)
• Collaborates with the Technical Project Manager and Solution Architects from the Global Deployment Center (GDC)
• Leads the analysis, design, implementation, validation and/or deployment of the extended PLM solution, leveraging best practices
• Ensures adoption of best practices for using and implementing PLM solution capabilities in accordance with the established roadmap
• Maps processes to technology through solid understanding of extended PLM solutions and their capabilities
• Leads the implementation and deployment of the solution in areas of customization, data migration, infrastructure, and integrations
• Is proficient in configuring and customizing the software to provide a prototype solution which is used as guideline for the team
• Is accountable and responsible for providing appropriate project deliverables
• Understands client challenges in extended PLM
• Leads by expertise and experience
• Possesses expertise in one or more PLM domains an in implementing solution in the context of customer processes using best practices
• Possesses expertise in one or more IT domains like customization, data migration, infrastructure, and integrations
• Professional proficiency in German and English
