As a key member of the Communication and Publishing Department, the Photographer/Videographer partners with Church leaders and area communication teams to produce visual content that is Christ-centered, compassionate, global, straightforward, hopeful, humble, and inspiring, consistent with the Church’s Permanent Brand Guide.
Responsibilities

- Stakeholder Collaboration – Partner closely with senior Church leaders, Area Communication staff, and headquarters departments. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and trust — particularly when working on sacred or sensitive projects.
- Mentorship and Team Leadership – Support and mentor junior photographers, contractors, and assistants, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
- Asset Management – Archive and manage digital assets according to Church standards. Ensure photos, video clips, and metadata are properly organized, tagged, and accessible through official digital asset management systems.
- Logistics and Budget Management – Oversee project logistics and budgets, coordinate travel and production schedules, and ensure projects are completed within approved resources and timeline.

- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro (or comparable industry tools).
- Solid understanding of color correction, sound syncing, and file preparation for multiple media platforms.
