Aspects of our research are part of the International Doctorate Program on Photo‑Electro‑Catalysis and CRC 325, Assembly Controlled Chemical Photocatalysis, providing numerous opportunities for collaborative projects, and potential connections to industry. Team members are encouraged to present their work at both national and international conferences, and to attend research‑specific workshops (both at UR and other universities), providing them with excellent opportunities for networking and career development. We use a range of analytical methods including inorganic spectroscopy (e.g., absorption, EPR, Mössbauer spectroscopy), electrochemistry, and some computational work. Therefore, candidates will have the opportunity to develop a diverse set of research skills.
