The TUM School of Management am Heilbronn Data Science Center invites applications for a PhD student position within TransforM. Based at the Heilbronn Campus, the role starts as soon as possible for an initial three-year term in the academic staff.

We seek candidates with a strong background in quantitative methods, data science, and empirical research, proficient in Python or R, and capable of conducting independent scientific work. English fluency is required; German is a plus.

Your profile

• Master's degree in business/management, data science, psychology, or a related field
• Strong background in quantitative methods, statistics, and data science, with demonstrated experience in empirical research and data analysis of large datasets
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
• Ability to conduct independent scientific research
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken); Proficiency in the German language is an advantage but not required
• Excellent organizational skills
