The IMPRS-BAC graduate program recruits doctoral candidates for 2027 start, offering interdisciplinary training at the intersection of molecular life sciences and computational sciences. It provides mentorship, experimental and computational exposure, and a structured curriculum in Berlin.

Selected candidates receive three years of funding, a degree from Freie Universität Berlin, and extensive supervision to develop a strong research proposal aligned with faculty interests.

Qualificações

• Above-average master's or comparable degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, mathematics, bioinformatics or related areas.
• Experience with computational or biological research is desirable.
• Willingness to gain expertise in the complementary discipline.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

You have:

• an above-average master's or comparable degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, mathematics, bioinformatics or any related areas, awarded by September 2027;
• some experience with computational or biological research;
• knowledge in biology or computation with a willingness to gain the other;
• very good written and spoken English;
• a project proposal that aligns withthe research interests of our recruiting faculty.
