The selected PhD candidate will focus on the advanced characterization of fuel cell materials using state of the art electron‑microscopy based techniques, including a new microscope in a specifically designed research building. In‑situ methodologies should be applied with the aim of understanding fuel cell behaviour under realistic conditions. The position offers access to advanced instrumentation and working in an international team of highly motivated researchers. If desired, structured training is available.
