Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Computational Pharmacokinetics & Systems Biology Expert to design challenging PK/PD problems for AI-driven research. The role requires strong Python skills and experience with Linux/terminal environments, plus proficiency with scientific libraries.

This remote contract role offers 15–20 hours per week, with flexible hours and international collaboration across labs. Experience with SBML-based tools and containerized environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD or equivalent research experience in a relevant STEM field.
• Proven proficiency with at least one listed scientific software library (libRoadRunner, Tellurium, SBML).
• Strong Python skills.
• Ability to work in a Linux/terminal environment with remote compute sandboxes.
• Available for at least 15–20 hours/week.

Position: Computational Pharmacokinetics & Systems Biology Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $70–$85/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 15–20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Proven proficiency with at least one listed scientific software library.

Preferred

• Experience across multiple listed domains or tools.
• Familiarity with benchmark or evaluation design.
• Background in scientific teaching or exam/problem-set design.
