For this scientifically demanding field of technology, we are seeking a Patent Engineer (m/f/d) with a background in chemistry who would like to apply their expertise at the intersection of new materials, technological development, and strategic issues.

Your responsibilities:

• Analysis of patent applications and patents within the competitive technological landscape
• Conducting patent searches and evaluating the state of the art
• Addressing complex patent-related issues, particularly in the field of chemistry
• Developing technical arguments in collaboration with internal departments and external patent attorneys
• Monitoring competitor activities and identifying potential courses of action
• Preparing and communicating the results to internal decision-makers
