NTT Global Data Centers in Germany seeks an experienced professional to deliver DC&CC operations across Germany and coordinate client works for Frankfurt am Main, Berlin and potential regions. You will drive insourcing to lower outsource spend and lead the PCI training and growth of the local team.

The role requires a background in IT/networking, data center or telecommunications, and strong coordination skills to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical studies or training as IT specialist with focus on network connectivity and system integration or comparable qualification.
• Experience of managing technical teams.
• Experience in the data center or telecommunications environment.
• Knowledge in the field of connectivity infrastructure.
• Awareness of existing suppliers of connectivity infrastructure within Germany.
• Knowledge of network protocols in use today.
• Familiarity with supply chain management and supplier evaluation/selection.
• Motivated and client-focused; able to drive a team to success.
• Experience supporting growth of revenues in networking products.

Aufgaben

• Capture, plan and execute client and internal works including passive and ICT and reduce outsource spend.
• Pre and post RFO audits and sign-off of passive infrastructure.
• Local coordination and focus of DC&CC services in Germany.
• Capture and coordinate client connectivity requirements for Germany.
• Coordinate internal and client works on time, budget and quality.
• Train local teams to update passive assets into systems; refresh annually.
• Identify time and cost efficiency through insourcing.
• Supervise external and internal passive works per change process.
• Plan training to increase internal and client works.
• Plan and carry out internal works insource.
• Maintain local and central knowledge base for execution and inquiries.
• Reduce lead times and cost for client works.
• Manage local stock items for client works.
• Collaborate with Service Operations on internal works across teams.
• Plan and perform QA works.
• Coordinate capacity upgrades with PCI and DCS managers.
• Drive connectivity service improvements and identify value-added services.

Your role at a glance

This role will be responsible for the delivery delivery for DC&CC in Germany as well as coordination, planning and undertaking client works for Frankfurt am Main, Berlin and potential other regions.
As part of this growing team there will be a key focus to reduce outsource spend and lead-times through bringing client work inhouse through identification and training of PCI team.

What you will do

• Responsible for capturing, planning and execution of client and internal works including passive and ICT, identifying, and growing client works, reducing outsource spend
• Pre and post RFO audit and sign-off of passive infrastructure (owned and third party)
• Local co-ordination and focus of DC&CC services
• Capture and coordinate client connectivity requirement for Germany
• Overall coordination and completion internal and client works on-time, budget and quality
• Work with DCS central team to lead and train local team to update passive assets into FNT, refreshed annually (S/F & FNT)
• Identify time and cost efficiency through insourcing
• Supervise external & internal passive works, in line with change process
• Identify and coordinating training requirement to increase internal and client works
• Plan and carry out internal works insource
• Local and central knowledge base for execution and incident enquiries
• Reducing lead-times and cost for client works
• Managing local stock items to undertake client works
• Working with Service Operations, plan and carry out internal works across local teams
• Plan and undertake QA works
• Identify and plan with PCI and DCS managers capacity upgrades
• Drive connectivity service improvement
