PPRO Financial Ltd. is seeking a proactive Paralegal to join the Legal team and support regulatory, commercial and product/AI matters across LatAm, APAC, and EMEA.

You will help streamline processes, manage contract data and budgets, and navigate payments regulations as the business scales. You will join a collaborative 14-person team with exposure to complex international projects, providing a strong foundation to grow your legal career and qualifications.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as paralegal or legal assistant with 2–3 years ideal, or 1+ years with drive.
• Experience in fintech/financial services and cross-border matters is a plus.
• Strong organisational and data-management skills.

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and drive-driven Paralegal to join our dynamic Legal team. In this role, you will provide critical support across regulatory, commercial, and product/AI technology matters spanning LatAm, APAC, and EMEA. This role serves as the operational engine of our legal function-helping us streamline processes, manage contract data, track budgets, and navigate complex international payments regulations as PPRO scales. You'll join a collaborative, supportive 14-person team with high exposure to complex international projects, giving you a strong foundation to build and accelerate your legal career.,

• Data Room Ownership: Build and maintain a centralized, clean contract, co sec and wider legal data room to ensure alignment across systems.
• Budget & Invoice Management: Act as a trusted owner for external legal spend-reviewing law firm invoices against original quotes and tracking team budget adherence.
• Process Optimization: Map out current legal workflows, identify gaps, and help optimize processes for the wider team.

Regulatory, Horizon Scanning & Expansion Research

• Horizon Scanning ("RegWatch"): Participate in monthly regulatory tracking; identify upcoming legislation across payments/e-money (AML/CTF, licensing, data protection, cybersecurity) and coordinate next steps with internal stakeholders (e.g., Infosec, Product).
• Global Expansion Research: Conduct preliminary legal research on regulatory constraints, local requirements, and licensing parameters as PPRO expands into new markets.
• Knowledge Repository: Maintain, audit, and update our repository of 60+ global legal opinions and market servicing trackers.

Commercial, Product & Governance Support

• Commercial Contracts: Perform low-level contract reviews and provide general commercial support.
• Product & AI Review: Support legal reviews for new product features and AI tools as they are developed.
• Corporate Secretarial (CoSec): Assist with basic corporate secretarial tasks, including document notarizations, filings, and governance admin.
• Outside Counsel Coordination: Support matter management, research, and daily liaison with external legal partners., Path to Qualification: We are happy to support the right ambitious candidates seeking to qualify (SQE / Solicitor qualification support is available via qualified solicitors on the team).
• Direct Mentorship & Supervision: Work alongside and receive structured guidance from senior lawyers with premier law firm backgrounds.
• Global Exposure: Gain hands-on exposure to cross-border legal topics across EMEA, LatAm, and APAC without regional silos.

  Experience: Ideally 2-3 years of paralegal, legal assistant or other relevant experience (we are also open to high-drive candidates with 1+ years of experience who are ready to hit the ground running).

• Prior exposure to Corporate Secretarial (CoSec) tasks or legal tech tools (e.g., Ironclad).
• Additional languages relevant to LatAm, APAC, or EMEA regions.
