The Quality Group (TQG) is seeking a Packaging Technology Specialist to develop and optimize primary packaging solutions across sites and co-packers. You will review and approve packaging specifications and conduct tests to qualify new packaging, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals.

You will work closely with Production, Purchasing, Planning, Quality, Product Development, Marketing and Sales to drive packaging improvements, while applying your knowledge of packaging data and master data

Qualifications

• Vocational training or degree in packaging technology.
• Initial practical experience in a technical environment or production.
• Basic knowledge of maintaining packaging master data.
• Very good German and English written and spoken skills.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent work style.
• Confident, persuasive, hands-on approach.

Responsabilités

• Develop new packaging solutions and optimize existing ones.
• Review, coordinate, and approve packaging specifications.
• Conduct production, filling, and transport tests to qualify new packaging.
• Collaborate with suppliers to implement technical and sustainable packaging concepts.
• Support production-related evaluations and derive optimization projects.
• Serve as central interface between Production, Purchasing, Planning, Quality Management, Product Development, Marketing, and Sales.

Your mission

• You are responsible for the new development and optimization of packaging solutions at The Quality Group sites as well as at our co-packers, with a focus on primary packaging (e.g., films, cans, bottles)
• You work closely with suppliers to implement technical and sustainable packaging concepts
• You review, coordinate, and approve packaging specifications
• You conduct production, filling, and transport tests to qualify new packaging
• You support production-related evaluations and derive optimization projects from them
• You take on a central interface function between Production, Purchasing, Planning, Quality Management, Product Development, Marketing, and Sales

Your experience & skills

• You have completed vocational training as a Packaging Technology Specialist, Packaging Technician, or in the field of Packaging Quality Management, or a completed degree in Packaging Technology
• You have gained initial practical experience in a technical environment or in production
• You have basic knowledge of maintaining packaging master data
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
• You are structured, solution-oriented, and work independently
• You have a confident, persuasive manner and enjoy practical, hands-on activities
