deltaVision in Munich seeks an Orbital Systems Programme Manager to own end-to-end delivery of a space programme, acting as the single point of accountability for schedule, cost, scope and risk with external partners and subcontractors.

Working with Orbital Systems architects and domain leads, you will keep the programme on track from early phase through delivery, aligning cross-organisation teams and ensuring ECSS-compliant project management and reporting.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years as a programme or project manager for spacecraft or spacecraft subsystems, with end-to-end delivery ownership.
• Proven track record managing cost, schedule and scope on complex, multi-stakeholder space programmes.
• Hands-on experience with ECSS project-management, review (SRR/PDR/CDR) and milestone frameworks.

Aufgaben

• Own the programme baseline: schedule, cost, scope, work-package structure and critical path across all phases.
• Run the programme control cycle — planning, milestone and gate management, earned-value tracking, and risk & opportunity management.
• Act as deltaVision's primary interface to consortium partners, coordinating dependencies and deliverables.
• Manage customer and authority relationships for the programme, including reviews, milestone acceptance and contractual deliverables.
• Lead internal programme execution across systems engineering, hardware and test, aligning teams to plan.
• Own subcontractor and supplier management within the programme scope: statements of work, NDAs, negotiation and delivery.
• Drive preparation and defence of programme reviews (SRR/PDR/CDR) and ensure data-package readiness.
• Flag strategic dependencies and resource conflicts early, across programme and company priorities.
• Ensure compliance with ECSS project-management, configuration and quality requirements.
• Support related bid and proposal activity with programme inputs.

Your mission

As Orbital Systems Programme Manager, you will own the end-to-end delivery of one of deltaVision's space programmes. You will be the single point of accountability for schedule, budget, scope and risk, and deltaVision's primary interface to partners, subcontractors and customers.

Working alongside our Orbital Systems architects and technical domain leads, you will keep a programme on track — from early phase through delivery.

Your responsibilities:

• Own theprogrammebaseline: schedule, cost, scope, work-packagestructureand critical path across all phases
• Run theprogrammecontrol cycle — planning, milestone and gate management, earned-value tracking, risk and opportunity management, change control, and progress reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Act asdeltaVision'sprimary interface to consortium partners, coordinating cross-organisationdependencies,interfacesand deliverables
• Manage the customer and authority relationship for yourprogramme, including reviews, milestoneacceptanceand contractual deliverables
• Lead internalprogrammeexecution across the contributing domains (systems engineering, hardware, and test), keeping teams aligned to plan

Your profile

• 5+ years as aprogrammeor project manager for spacecraft or spacecraft subsystems, withdemonstratedend-to-end delivery ownership
• Proventrack recordmanaging cost, schedule and scope on complex, multi-stakeholder spaceprogrammes
• Hands-on experience with ECSS project-management, review (SRR/PDR/CDR)and milestone frameworks
• Experience coordinating across consortia,partnersand/or subcontractors, ideally in an institutional (ESA / national agency) funding context
• Strong command of planning, risk management and reporting tools and methods
• Sound technical judgement across space systems, enabling credible dialogue with domain leads and partners
• Excellent stakeholder-management,negotiationand communication skills
• Accountable,structuredand calm under pressure, with an agile, hands-on mindset
• Passion for creating a new spaceflight paradigm (spacelogistics& orbitalrefuelling)
• Additional advantages:

  • Experience in adefence/ dual-use environment and eligibility to obtain a national security clearance (VS-NfD)
