We are seeking a highly motivated optical engineer to join our research team at the interface of advanced microscopy development and neuroscience research. The position centers on the setup, operation, maintenance, and further development of state-of-the-art light microscopy systems (e.g. STED microscopy), with a strong focus on imaging in living brain tissue.
This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy building, optimizing, and pushing the limits of microscopy, and who are excited about applying advanced imaging technologies to fundamental questions in the life sciences. You will be part of an institute that is actively evolving and committed to making anatomy and cell biology technologically innovative, scientifically impactful, and enjoyable.
