Zusammenfassung

Airbus Defence and Space GmbH is seeking an Operations Lead to translate strategic vision into efficient daily workflows and solid financial execution. You will oversee unit finances, time tracking, and billing while enabling cross-functional support across Engineering, Product, and Finance teams.

You will manage procurement, IT hardware needs, and onboarding processes, ensuring operations stay within budget and align with Airbus standards.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management or a related field.
• Several years of experience in operational management, financial controlling, or administrative process execution.
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in budget management, cost controlling, project billing, and modern operational software.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of motivating and managing teams of individual contributors.
• Experience with onboarding processes, recruiting coordination, or basic HR administration; fluency in both German and English is required.

• Manage employee time tracking, ensure accurate allocation of working hours to projects, and oversee internal and external billing processes.
• Execute day-to-day tactical core operational and administrative processes to guarantee smooth daily business operations.
• Foster close cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Finance departments to ensure seamless operational support for all development activities.
• Manage local procurement of IT hardware, specialized equipment, workspace facilities, and provide/integrate necessary operational software and HR/onboarding support.

You are the operational and administrative backbone of our unit. As the Operations Lead, you ensure that the strategic vision is translated into efficient daily workflows and solid financial execution. You bridge the gap between high-level strategy and ground-level implementation, ensuring that our dynamic development processes run smoothly, resources are allocated efficiently, and operations stay strictly within budget.
