Workster is partnering with a leading provider in the logistics and e-mobility sector to recruit an Operations Customer & Logistics Coordinator for an on‑site role in Düsseldorf, Germany.
In this position, you will support end‑to‑end logistics operations with a strong focus on customer service, local fleet and charging coordination, and efficient handling of inbound/outbound flows. You will act as a primary operational contact for customers, drivers, and internal teams, ensuring timely resolutions and continuous process improvements. This is an on‑site role based in Düsseldorf, operating within a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment aligned to sustainability and e‑mobility goals.
Your Role
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer enquiries related to deliveries, returns, charging services, and fleet availability via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Coordinate logistics activities including scheduling of pickups and deliveries, route optimisation support, and real‑time exception handling to meet SLAs
- Manage relationships with carriers, drivers, third‑party service providers and internal operations teams to ensure reliable service delivery
- Support the local e‑mobility programme by scheduling and tracking charging infrastructure use, liaising with charging station operators, and monitoring vehicle charge levels
- Process and track shipments, returns, and inventory movements in the warehouse management system, maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Monitor KPIs and produce regular operational reports, highlighting trends, incidents and opportunities for efficiency gains
- Investigate and resolve customer incidents and claims, escalating complex cases to specialist teams as required and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps, proposing solutions and supporting implementation of new workflows and tools
- Support training and onboarding of new operations staff and maintain up‑to‑date local SOPs, FAQs and knowledge base articles
Your Qualifications
- Fluent in German and strong English language skills (written and spoken)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related discipline
- 2+ years’ experience in logistics operations, customer service in a supply chain environment, or e‑mobility/fleet operations
- Practical knowledge of transport planning, carrier management and warehouse processes; experience with WMS/TMS or similar systems is desirable
- Understanding of e‑mobility concepts (EV charging logistics, fleet charging planning) or demonstrable interest in sustainable transport solutions
- Strong customer‑focus, excellent communication and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure and coordinate across multiple stakeholders
- IT literate with experience using CRM/ticketing systems, Microsoft Office (Excel) and the ability to learn new operational platforms quickly
- Right to work and willingness to be based on‑site in Düsseldorf
