The role

We are looking for an Operations Analyst - Taxes to help us build and maintain Taxation Operations processes, being responsible for ensuring the operations around trading and taxation are run effectively and efficiently, ensuring a seamless customer experience to users.

Responsibilities span a range of topics in the trading journey: from ensuring correct calculations of taxes and refunds to solving complex cases, from preparing and sending reports to authorities to ensuring a constant feedback loop between the customer support team and the development teams.

What you'll do

• Execute and monitor essential daily and event-driven operational processes related to trading taxation operations
• Issue and review reports sent to authorities, ensuring the integrity of information displayed
• Collaborate with the Product and the Customer Service teams to improve features in the app
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all standard operating procedures SOPs and control frameworks
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert for complex operational and tax calculation queries escalated by frontline teams
• Monitor internal systems to optimise operational efficiency and address any potential disruptions promptly
• Contribute to business development projects under the guidance of senior team members

What you need to have

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Great problem-solving skills to find smart and practical solutions
• Experience with process design and process management
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Nice to have

• Experience with Trading-related projects
• Experience with the German Investment Taxation framework
• Knowledge of the German language (fluent or C1)
• Knowledge of SQL
