Operational Excellence Manager (m/w/d)

• Developing, communicating, and implementing a site‑specific Operational Excellence strategy in line with Kelvion’s objectives
• Leading and sustainably embedding Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives within production
• Implementing OPX principles and methods such as Shopfloor Management, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Visual Management, and maturity assessments in accordance with the global Kelvion Manufacturing Excellence Standards
• Identifying, prioritising, and managing improvement initiatives to achieve measurable improvements in safety, quality, cost, delivery performance, and productivity
• Organising and facilitating Kaizen workshops as well as structured problem‑solving formats, such as Ishikawa, 5-Why, and A3
• Analysing and optimising value streams, processes, and lead times, as well as identifying and eliminating waste, variation, and bottlenecks
• Developing, tracking, and reporting KPIs to measure OPX effectiveness, including ROI and cost savings from improvement projects
• Coaching and training managers, supervisors, and employees, as well as working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain

Your qualifications

• Completed degree in Engineering, Business Administration with a focus on Operations, or a comparable qualification
• At least 10 years of professional experience in Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in leading CI projects and delivering measurable operational improvements
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, and the relevant methods and tools
• Experience in KPI development, data analysis, and performance tracking
• Lean certification, for example Lean Six Sigma, desirable
• Strong skills in Lean Leadership, Change Management, structured problem solving, and cross‑functional collaboration
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, and the ability to sustainably drive change without direct authority
