INFICON is seeking an organized procurement professional to join our Purchasing team in a dynamic environment. You will handle parts and services purchasing, support negotiations, monitor deliveries, manage master data, and drive process improvements to cut costs and raise quality.

The role begins as a 12‑month temp agency contract with opportunities to grow as part of a global team.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training.
• Professional experience in purchasing.
• Experience in ERP systems (SAP).
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Communicative personality with negotiating skills and a structured way of working.
• Reliability, willingness to take responsibility and team spirit.

Responsabilités

• Procurement of parts and services per specifications.
• Support strategic purchasing in negotiations.
• Process orders and monitor delivery deadlines.
• Initiate measures for supply bottlenecks.
• Monitor inventory and analyze requirements.

INFICON is a leading provider of innovative instrumentation, critical sensor technologies, and Smart Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 software solutions that enhance productivity and quality of tools, processes, and complete factories. These analysis, measurement and control products are essential for gas leak detection in air conditioning/refrigeration and automotive manufacturing. They are vital to equipment manufacturers and end-users in the complex fabrication of semiconductors and thin film coatings for optics, flat panel displays, solar cells and industrial vacuum coating applications. Other users of our vacuum-based processes include the life sciences, research, aerospace, packaging, heat treatment, laser cutting and many other industrial processes. We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety.

Your tasks:

• Procurement of purchased parts and services according to specifications
• Support of strategic purchasing in negotiations
• Order processing and monitoring delivery deadlines
• Initiating measures in the event of supply bottlenecks
• Inventory monitoring and requirements analysis
• Maintenance of master data and invoice verification
• Process optimization to improve costs and quality

This position will initially be filled for 12 months with a temp agency contract.
