Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking an Installation Coordinator to support ENERCON onshore wind turbine projects in Hamburg, Germany. You will coordinate installation activities, plan and schedule operations, and work closely with Installation Managers, Site Managers, Team Leaders, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

You will monitor progress, ensure alignment with schedules, and maintain accurate installation records.

• Familiarity with ENERCON procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily installation activities across ENERCON onshore wind turbine projects.
• Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of wind turbine installation operations.
• Work closely with Installation Managers, Site Managers, Team Leaders, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor installation progress and ensure activities remain aligned with project schedules.
• Coordinate the availability of technicians, equipment, tools, cranes, and installation materials.
• Ensure all required resources are available ahead of planned installation activities.
• Identify potential delays, resource shortages, and logistical challenges, implementing solutions where necessary.
• Monitor compliance with ENERCON installation procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Support the coordination of lifting operations and major component installations.
• Maintain accurate installation records, progress reports, and project documentation.
• Attend daily coordination meetings and provide regular updates to project management.
• Liaise with logistics teams to coordinate deliveries of turbine components and installation equipment.
• Support the resolution of technical and operational issues affecting installation progress.
• Ensure effective communication between all parties involved in installation activities.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• Previous experience working on ENERCON wind turbine installation projects is mandatory.


• Proven experience as an Installation Coordinator, Site Coordinator, Installation Supervisor, or similar role within the onshore wind sector.


• Strong understanding of wind turbine installation processes and site operations.


• Experience coordinating installation teams, subcontractors, and project resources.


• Good knowledge of ENERCON installation procedures and project requirements.


• Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to manage multiple installation activities and priorities simultaneously.


• Good understanding of HSE regulations and safety procedures within wind turbine installation projects.


• Experience working with installation schedules, progress reports, and project documentation.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.


• Good command of English.


• Willingness to travel and work across different project locations.

Desirable:

• Experience across multiple ENERCON turbine platforms.


• Previous experience working on onshore wind installation projects in Germany or elsewhere in Europe.


• Knowledge of crane operations, lifting activities, and turbine component logistics.


• Experience using project planning and reporting software.


• Valid GWO training certificates relevant to site access and responsibilities.


• Valid driving licence.
