SeaRenergy Offshore Holding GmbH is seeking an Onshore Client Representative (m/f/d) for a major high‑voltage cable lay project in Rostock, Germany. The freelance, onshore position starts mid‑January 2027 for about six months, with a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule and 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities include representing the client, monitoring works, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, witnessing inspections, and documenting progress.

Onshore Client Representative (m/f/d) – Cable Lay

SeaRenergy is a company in the offshore wind industry that has set itself the task of offering comprehensive services and innovative solutions for the construction, operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms. Our industry is characterized by diversity and dynamism, which is why no two days are the same.

We are currently seeking an experienced

to support a major onshore high‑voltage cable installation project for the German transmission network starting from mid-January 2027 for an expected duration of approximately six months. This freelance position is onshore-based in the Rostock region, Germany and follows a Monday-to-Friday schedule (10 hours per day).

Responsibilities

• Represent the client's interests during onshore high‑voltage cable laying activities.
• Monitor cable installation works to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate daily with contractors, site personnel and project stakeholders.
• Witness inspections, testing and installation activities and document project progress.
• Identify and report technical issues, deviations and non‑conformities.
• Prepare daily reports and maintain accurate project documentation.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in high‑voltage cable installation projects, ideally as a Client Representative, Site Representative, Site Supervisor or similar role.
• Experience with high‑voltage cable laying activities as well as cable joints, terminations and fibre optic (FO) cable systems.
• Fluent German and English language skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Strong communication skills, a structured working style and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

Below you will find the requirements and the general working conditions:

• Minimum required certificates:
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Certification as an Electrically Instructed Person (EIP/EuP) is advantageous.
• Approximately mid-January 2027 until the end of June 2027 (subject to ±1 month adjustment).
• Own vehicle required for travel to the construction site.
