Jobbeschreibung
About Us:

We are an innovative, multidisciplinary group practice dedicated to serving individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD, Autism, and related concerns. Our approach integrates medical, psychological, and therapeutic care in a collaborative environment that values diversity and individualized treatment.

About You:

You are an experienced and compassionate OBGYN with a special interest in how hormonal changes across the lifespan—from menarche to menopause—interact with neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions like ADHD. You are excited about working in a collaborative team setting, including with Nurse Practitioners, who will support ongoing, precise medication titration tailored to each patient.

You value a holistic approach to care that integrates medical, psychological, and social factors to support women and gender-diverse individuals at all stages of life.

Position Overview:

As the clinic’s dedicated OBGYN, you will work alongside our multidisciplinary team—including Psychiatrists, Family Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, and Allied Health professionals—to provide specialized care focused on the intersection of gynecology, obstetrics, and neurodevelopmental conditions.

This includes conducting joint assessments with Psychiatrists and NPs and supporting patients through closely monitored and individualized treatment plans, particularly where reproductive health and ADHD intersect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide gynecological and obstetric assessments with a focus on individuals navigating ADHD and hormonal transitions (e.g., puberty, menstrual cycles, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause).
  • Participate in collaborative assessments with Psychiatrists, NPs and other providers, especially where hormonal influences may affect ADHD symptoms or treatment.
  • Offer expert consultation on medication implications during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and menopause, supporting safe and informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners who will manage careful and individualized titration of ADHD medications based on hormonal cycles or life stage.
  • Contribute to a comprehensive treatment planning and follow‑up care for patients presenting with overlapping gynecological and neurodevelopmental needs.
  • Educate patients and caregivers about the impact of hormonal changes on neurodiversity, and vice versa.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current on research at the intersection of women’s health and neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Provide care via secure virtual platforms, in‑person visits, or a hybrid model based on patient and provider preferences.
Qualifications:
  • Medical Degree and certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (FRCSC or equivalent).
  • License to practice in Ontario (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Interest or experience in ADHD, women’s mental health, neuroendocrinology, or related fields.
  • Experience working in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to equity‑informed, inclusive care that respects neurodiversity, gender identity, and reproductive autonomy.
  • Comfort with virtual care and electronic medical records.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative, client‑centered approach.
What We Offer:
  • Flexible work schedule: part‑time in-person, or hybrid.
  • Collaborative team culture with Psychiatrists, Family Physicians, NPs, Psychologists, SLPs, OTs, and other specialists.
  • Focused support from NPs for medication titration and monitoring.
  • Opportunities for research, innovation, and professional development in emerging intersections of ADHD and women’s health.
  • Competitive remuneration with a flexible fee split structure.
  • A values‑driven, inclusive clinic that prioritizes personalized, high‑quality care.

If you're excited by the opportunity to help shape an emerging area of women's and neurodevelopmental health, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today to become part of our innovative and compassionate team.
