Nursing Informatics Specialist (AI Training)

We're looking for Nursing Informatics Specialists to help train and evaluate AI systems that will power the next generation of healthcare technology. You'll bring real-world nursing knowledge to AI projects, ensuring clinical accuracy, workflow realism, and patient safety are built into AI from the ground up.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working with Alignerr — a company that partners with the world's leading AI research labs.

What You'll Do
- Apply your clinical nursing knowledge to evaluate and improve AI-generated healthcare content, documentation, and workflows
- Review AI outputs related to EHR systems, clinical decision support, and nursing practice for accuracy and real-world applicability
- Identify gaps, errors, or unsafe recommendations in AI-generated clinical content
- Translate nursing workflows and care standards into structured feedback that helps AI systems learn
- Assess the quality of AI responses to clinical scenarios, flagging anything that conflicts with evidence-based practice
- Provide detailed written feedback using structured evaluation frameworks
Who You Are
- Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with hands-on patient care experience
- Familiar with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation workflows and nursing informatics concepts
- Able to critically evaluate clinical content for accuracy, safety, and relevance
- Clear and precise written communicator
- Comfortable working independently and asynchronously
Nice to Have
- Experience in clinical informatics, health IT, or nursing education
- Background in data annotation, quality review, or clinical auditing
- Familiarity with AI tools or language model evaluation
- Advanced certifications in nursing informatics (e.g., RN-BC in Nursing Informatics)
