IPG Photonics GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a skilled Enterprise Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our global network infrastructure from the Burbach location.

You will configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VoIP systems while ensuring high availability and strong security controls. The role requires hands-on experience with LAN/WAN/WLAN, routing, switching, and Next-Generation Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet) and a Cisco certification.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent).
• Strong experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, routing, switching, and Next-Generation Firewalls.
• Knowledge of VoIP technologies (CUCM, SIP, H.323, QoS) and network automation/DevOps.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage.

Profile
