Avetix Engineering is seeking an NDT Inspector in Germany focused on Ultrasonic Testing (UT). The role is field-based, performing inspections at customer sites across the Oil & Gas, Energy and Renewables sectors. Expect travel across Germany with occasional international assignments.

Candidates should have NDT Level 1/2 (Level 3 considered), strong UT experience, a driving licence, and English plus German (B1+) language skills. Visa sponsorship not available.

We are working with a leading business in the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) sector that is looking to add an NDT Inspector to its team in Germany.

The role will focus on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) across industrial applications, supporting customers across sectors including Oil & Gas, Energy and Renewables.

This is a hands-on inspection role, with a particular focus on Ultrasonic Testing (UT). You will spend significant time working at customer sites, so the role suits someone who enjoys working in the field rather than being office-based.

CANDIDATES MUST BE BASED IN - OR WILLING TO RELOCATE TO - ONE OF THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:

• Hamburg
• Hannover

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out NDT inspections at customer and industrial sites
• Performing Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and other relevant NDT activities
• Working across industrial applications including Oil & Gas, Energy and Renewables
• Preparing inspection reports and maintaining accurate technical records
• Working closely with customers and site teams to ensure inspections are delivered safely and effectively
• Travelling regularly to customer sites across Germany and potentially internationally
• Working flexibly around customer requirements, which can include night shifts and weekend work
• Staying overnight near customer sites when required

What We're Looking For

• NDT qualification at Level 1 or Level 2 is preferred
• Level 3 candidates will also be considered
• Strong experience in Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
• Experience within industrial NDT environments, ideally across Oil & Gas, Energy, Renewables or similar sectors
• A valid driving licence
• English language skills are essential
• German language skills of at least B1 level
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay overnight near customer sites
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends when required by customers and site schedules
• Candidates must already have the right to work in Germany, as visa sponsorship is not available
