Key Responsibilities
- Lead early technical discovery with NeoCloud, AI, and GPU customers to understand workloads, accelerated system architectures, deployment models, and business objectives.
- Translate customer requirements into end‑to‑end Micron solution architectures, spanning memory, storage, and system‑level design considerations.
- Influence customer platform and architectural decisions 12–24 months prior to revenue by crafting technical direction with senior engineering leaders, architects, and business decision‑makers.
- Develop and articulate technical differentiation, including performance, scalability, reliability, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Partner closely with Account Managers, Executives, Product Teams, and senior customer collaborators to align technical strategy with commercial priorities and long‑term strategic account plans.
- Support value selling and proposal development through executive‑level technical communication.
- Collaborate multi‑functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Business Units, and Field Application Engineers to bring forward customer requirements, influence product direction, and ensure strong alignment from early architecture through deployment.
- Maintain access to design‑win pipeline, technical risks, and achievements.
- Provide ongoing engagement to support solution sustainment, refresh planning, and follow‑on opportunities.
- Translate NeoCloud, AI, and GPU customer workload requirements into Micron solution roadmaps and ecosystem engagement priorities.
- Shape customer preference toward Micron products.
- Act as a senior technical liaison to customer decision‑makers, ecosystem partners, and Micron leaders to drive alignment, influence strategy, and deepen long‑term technical partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of experience in solutions architecture, systems architecture, technical sales engineering, or customer‑facing technical leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of data‑center systems, including GPU‑accelerated compute, memory, storage, networking, and software stacks used in AI and large‑scale cloud deployments.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep experience with AI infrastructure, hyperscale or NeoCloud environments, GPU platforms, or large‑scale accelerated computing ecosystems.
- Familiarity with emerging system architectures and memory/storage technologies.
- Proven success influencing customer build decisions, platform roadmaps, and executive collaborators within strategic cloud, AI, or accelerated computing accounts.

Compensation and Benefits
The total compensation salary range that Micron estimates it could pay for this full‑time position is $0.00 - $0.00 per year.
The salary range represents the total target compensation (TTC), including base salary and a variable performance‑based component. The base salary accounts for the 80% for Field Application roles. Micron’s ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job‑related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the position.
