Actalent is seeking a Survey Monitoring Technician to join a growing survey group supporting large infrastructure and construction projects in the NYC metro area. The role is based in a hybrid environment with onboarding in‑office and potential for future hybrid arrangements.

You will monitor survey instrumentation, collect and analyze data, and collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure high-quality reporting and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot survey instrumentation near active construction sites
• Perform periodic field visits to ensure data accuracy and equipment performance
• Collect, process, and analyze survey and monitoring data
• Collaborate closely with surveyors, engineers, and project teams to ensure accurate reporting and successful project execution

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience working with survey instrumentation and data collection
• Hands‑on experience with Automated Total Stations
• Proficiency with GeoMos software
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering Technology, Land Surveying, or a related field preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of New Windsor, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
