Job summary

CrowdGen is seeking German-speaking participants to record short, unscripted phone calls for AI voice training. You will role-play conversations with fake details, keeping calls to 1–2 minutes and submitting metadata after each session.

Work remotely on your own schedule. You can complete 4–10 sessions for payout, with a cap at 10 sessions for the maximum bonus. NDA and consent are required.

Qualifications

• Native German speaker, 18+ years old.
• Able to read and follow short German instructions.
• Own an iPhone 17/17 Pro series and a quiet recording space.
• Can complete 4–10 calls of 1–2 minutes each with daily spread requirements.
• Capable of improvising unscripted calls following a 6-step flow and using fake IDs.

Responsibilities

• Record solo calls on CrowdGen's secure platform, pausing where the agent would respond.
• Submit basic metadata after each completed call.

Join Project Melora – German Voice Recording ($17.20–$43)

Help build more natural voice AI by recording short, one-sided phone calls in German. Imagine you're calling a bank, telco, or retailer for help, and speak naturally using made-up details. Each session takes only a few minutes.

Requirements

• Native German speaker, 18+
• Can read and follow short instructions in German
• Own an iPhone 17, 17 Air, 17 Pro, or 17 Pro Max
• Have a quiet indoor space to record (no TV, traffic, fans, or other voices)
• Can complete 4–10 calls, each 1–2 minutes (5 minutes max)
• Can spread calls out: no more than 3 per day, at least 3 hours apart, at different times of day across several days
• Comfortable improvising a natural, unscripted call that follows a 6-step flow: greeting, ID verification, describing the issue, pausing for the agent's reply, resolution, and closing
• Will use only fake names and account or order numbers (no real personal information)
• Willing to be recorded, give recorded consent, sign an NDA, and follow project guidelines

How it works

• Record solo calls on our secure platform. No second person is needed; pause where the agent would respond.
• Submit basic metadata after each call.

Pay: $4.30 per QA-approved session

• You need at least 4 approved sessions to be paid ($17.20), and you can do up to 10 ($43.00).
• Sessions that fail QA don't count toward payment.
• We recommend doing all 10 to get the full payout.

This role is a project-based opportunity with CrowdGen, where you will join the CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor. If selected, you will receive an email from CrowdGen regarding the creation of an account using your application email address. You will need to log in to this account and reset the password, complete the setup requirements, and proceed with your application for this project-based role.
