West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Global Recruitment in Eschweiler, Germany. You will oversee up to six recruiters, manage end-to-end recruitment for European Elastomers and Proprietary Containment Operations, and partner with APAC leaders to standardize and drive results.

Job Summary

The Manager will oversee daily team operations and execution, aligning priorities and decisions with the broader strategy and vision established by the Sr. Manager for the function and operating unit. This leader will manage up to six recruiters and oversee the full cycle recruitment process for European Elastomers and Proprietary Containment (E&PC) Operations and Drug Delivery Devices sites. As a primary point of contact for our internal stakeholders, this individual will collaborate on hiring needs for our locations and advise business leaders and HR partners on recruiting activity and talent acquisition initiatives, analytics and projects. The individual will have a role in continuing to advance our capabilities and centralization of the function, and will partner with the APAC Talent Acquisition leader to ensure consistency and drive results across all E&PC sites. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for providing hands on support and managing requisitions when surge efforts are requested to meet hiring goals for highly visible or more senior level roles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees full-cycle recruitment process; leads, develops and maintains a high performing team
• Provides innovative, scalable solutions and implementation of recruitment plans to drive our hiring to meet business objectives
• Builds and monitors recruitment KPIs and manages stakeholder satisfaction
• Accurately track and report recruitment activity data to support staffing metrics.
• Accountable for taking proactive action to continuously evaluate processes, tools and technology to drive improvement and incorporate best practices
• Collaborate with Managers and HR partners to develop a strong understanding of department culture, business strategy and talent profiles to deliver on the hiring needs of the business
• Partner with Communications team to drive a consistent employer branding and positive candidate experience for West (e.g. career fairs, internships, employee referral program)
• Build and maintain partnership with external stakeholders (recruitment/search firms, government agencies, tertiary institutions)
• Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent experience in Business or Human Resources discipline required

Work Experience

• Required to have a minimum 8 years professional experience with a minimum of 5 years experience in Talent Acquisition.
• Previous experience directly managing and motivating a team to drive high performance is required.
• Must be business level fluent in English, German and French

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Prior experience in recruiting for pharmaceutical, medical device and/or healthcare related industries will be highly advantageous but not mandatory
• Capability to develop, implement, and manage a 12-month functional area business plan, including the related budget with a high level of business acumen.
• Solid written and verbal communication abilities
• Relationship building skills to appeal to broad audiences - managerial, direct reports, cross functional teams.
• Excellent consultative skills and proven success developing strong, collaborative relationships across multiple departments and levels
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems and social media channels. Proficiency with SuccessFactors is a plus.

Pay Transparency

The annual base salary range for this position is €89,100.00 - €113,400.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.

This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
